Logo Design #2

OK  I realised I have till 5pm today to get my logo designs in, and I think I need the thistle in the background. I have had some really positive feedback about using the thistle as the 'o' as well so I have kept that for one of my mock ups;

hard edges but white not so visible

caused perception probs in some people

the white text is less visible

My favourite and the text is the most visible.

 I hope to hand in the last one here, and link them to my blog in case they want to see my other mock ups.

Going to flatten the ai. and send the PNG file image as I assume it would need to be an image optimised for the web.

Logo Design

I haven't posted for a while and I am sorry, as you know I have been working on a website design for family as well as working on finding a full time position in web design.

I have hit a crucial stage now in my job search, as a prerequisite for a role I am very interested in I must create a logo design and then the company will take me to interview stage!

So I got this email from them last night with their brief and since receiving it I have been working solidly.

Imagery to be included:        Thistle background (behind the logo text in navy blue)

Business Background:            The client specialises in joinery and internal office fit-outs, including:

House extensions, sunrooms, garage conversions, suspended ceiling systems, partitioning. Renovation work also.
