Writing about something you have no clue about!

Writing about a subject you don't know about..

For me that was fishing, I understand the basics of fishing but it is an extremely complex sport and something I don't pretend to know of.

Recently however, I had to write about a holiday destination where fishing is the main thing that happens.
So what do I do? I wrote about the descriptive expectations someone would experience if they were to stay for a fishing trip there.

Here's a link to the page - http://www.argyllchalets.co.uk/fishing_breaks.htm

Rather than making up something like where its best to fish and what lures or bait would be best, or the type and size of fish to expect I wrote about what a magical place Argyll Chalets and Loch Awe is.

Take a look at the images I included;

Ok so maybe I haven't been that webby recently

Hey yo,very tired and couldn't get back to sleep when baby decided to wake up at 6 am and she's been at it ever since. I'm sure people will say its preparing you for motherhood but I would still prefer if she just chilled out sometimes.

I haven't been all that webby or trying to look for new freelance work at the moment since my baby is due in just over 7 weeks now! Could be 5 - 9 in reality! Man I cannot wait to have her here.

I have been creating a couple of different landing pages for Argyll Chalets and Apartment for all of the different UK holidays that we have, just reminding people we are here and open!

Some images Michele sent me of Argyll Chalets yesterday;

Argyll Chalets is having absolutely gorgeous warm weather at the moment and we are at the height of the fishing season in Scotland with Pike fishing season open all year round! Permit fishing from the banks of Argyll Chalets is included as well as the use of two rods.

I can't wait to go back but looks like it might not be until Winter - which is so picturesque and magical.

I have found ways to unleash my creativity though!

Working on Argyll Chalets

I am totally enjoying working on Argyll Chalets website! It feels so good to be putting my skills to use again, amongst the tiredness and other prego symptoms I think I am managing it all really well.

So far, I have worked on the advertising campaign and right now I am working on the revamp and rewriting some content with keywords.

I wanted to share some images of the site with you all to see how beautiful and picturesque the area truly is. I love it and I'm not just saying that because its my partners dads place. haha.

Its a joy to be working on their website and improve their business and make it more appealing to the public, when I know how beautiful it is I just want to share it with you all.

Starting Work on Argyll Chalets

www.argyllchalets.co.uk    is a business very dear to my heart. Run by Les and Michele Reay and set in the heart of Scotland in Argyll.

I have had many wonderful holidays there and will always want to go back. Its the perfect place to begin your holiday in Scotland. You literally can do anything you want. I have enjoyed fishing trips with my partner Martin and the rest of the family.

Now I am beginning work on their website too!
But before I get into that let me share some more holiday snaps.

 As you can see there is much to do on the Loch without even leaving the area. Have you been on holiday there too? Why not share your pictures with us on facebook.
