Writing about something you have no clue about!

Writing about a subject you don't know about..

For me that was fishing, I understand the basics of fishing but it is an extremely complex sport and something I don't pretend to know of.

Recently however, I had to write about a holiday destination where fishing is the main thing that happens.
So what do I do? I wrote about the descriptive expectations someone would experience if they were to stay for a fishing trip there.

Here's a link to the page - http://www.argyllchalets.co.uk/fishing_breaks.htm

Rather than making up something like where its best to fish and what lures or bait would be best, or the type and size of fish to expect I wrote about what a magical place Argyll Chalets and Loch Awe is.

Take a look at the images I included;

Life lately according to my mobile

A lot of my favourite bloggers do a 'life lately according to my iphone' blog post and they are definitely my favourite kind!

My friend Emma made an Oreo Cheesecake which we devoured last night! So delicious!

My friend Rachael and her son Robb and I went out for lunch on Tuesday to Wetherspoons, my poor stomach couldn't eat all of the food on the plate but damn it was tasty!

My man Martin and Maggie enjoying a snuggle.

The things you do to see how your hair looks! lol!

My bump :) not long to go this was me at 33 weeks and 5 days.

Homemade apple pie with apples picked from our orchard, don't think there is enough for cider making this year as I had planned, oh well, pies are darn good though!

Baby Mobile!

Homemade baby mobile

FINALLY finished ( :-0 zzz..... )
SOOO! The stress is on, I feel absolutely massive and I am only 32 weeks and 5 days, could not sleep for worrying last night, constantly thinking about things that I feel i HAVE TO DO RIGHT NOW! I have a massive list of the most mundane crap to do;

(here's an excerpt)

  • Hoover window sill
  • Get winter duvet down from attic (its only September the 1st tomorrow!!!)

I suppose if I wasn't like this then I wouldn't care right but it just feels so overwhelming right now. Any ideas to take my mind off this?

Ok so maybe I haven't been that webby recently

Hey yo,very tired and couldn't get back to sleep when baby decided to wake up at 6 am and she's been at it ever since. I'm sure people will say its preparing you for motherhood but I would still prefer if she just chilled out sometimes.

I haven't been all that webby or trying to look for new freelance work at the moment since my baby is due in just over 7 weeks now! Could be 5 - 9 in reality! Man I cannot wait to have her here.

I have been creating a couple of different landing pages for Argyll Chalets and Apartment for all of the different UK holidays that we have, just reminding people we are here and open!

Some images Michele sent me of Argyll Chalets yesterday;

Argyll Chalets is having absolutely gorgeous warm weather at the moment and we are at the height of the fishing season in Scotland with Pike fishing season open all year round! Permit fishing from the banks of Argyll Chalets is included as well as the use of two rods.

I can't wait to go back but looks like it might not be until Winter - which is so picturesque and magical.

Creative Outlet

I have found ways to unleash my creativity though!
